Description
Fishmeal 65 is produced by the cooking, drying and grinding of fish and fish trimmings. It is a brown coloured, granular powder with slightly fishy odour.
Nutritional Attributes
Excellent source of protein with good amino acid profile. Drying process of the fish determines the quality of the material with indirect hot air drying slower and better than flame drying. Flame dried material can have a higher ash content. Better quality material has a higher digestibility. Good source of undegradable protein, however cannot be fed to ruminants due to the animal protein ban.

It is recommended that the product be used within 6 months of production. Material to have been stored in compliance with MAFF Code of Practice for the Control of Salmonella.
